Yes there are many little spots to fish in and just watch the river go by really nice place to hang out. They do have a pedestrian walkway from downtown cheboygan to the other side of the river.
Great fishing during early spring and all summer. Bass, walleye, pike, salmon and perch
Kids love it! Lots of snagging so have backup but it's fun
