Robbins Motel

Close to everything. Just remember you get what you pay for. The room was very clean. The bathroom was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Yes the smoke alarm went off when you took a shower. Yes, it is small and sparsly furnished. Yes, the bathroom sink wasn't attached to the wall. but you're not supposed to sit on the sink anyway. The water in the shower was very hot. Overall it was sufficient for our needs. If you plan on going on vacation and staying in your hotel room the whole time don't come here. If you just need a place to sleep and take a shower you get what you pay for.

We loved it here! These reviews were such a disappointment. We stayed for 3 nights, room was nice and comfortable, staff were super friendly and it’s a nice, quiet location. We did get one of the updated rooms, there was typical wear and tear from people staying before us but it was not what the reviews made us think. We were so pleasantly surprised. Such a close drive to Acadia. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Positive: The bed, TV and counter space. Negative: Tub did not have a plug -so no bath. Floor was noticeably sloping enough so you could easily fall into the wall or window. Door jam was way off, due to the sinking foundation, so cold air came in. Heater in room did not work; requested a space heater.

Sept 2025 I would not have even given this place one star but was forced to so it would post my review oto the internet! A one star rating is way too generous for this place! Just do NOT stay here! It should be renamed Motel Hell! This motel is disgusting in every way possible! These are a bunch of trailers that have been put together and made into motel rooms! The rooms are horrible and smell of mold and mildew. Dead bugs smashed on the walls and no one bothers to clean them! Staff is rude and pictures on the internet of this place obviously altered to make it appear better than it is! You can barely see the entrance at night because it’s so poorly lit! Floors uneven and feel unsafe! You have to step up to get into the bathroom! Towel racks and toilet paper holder fall off the wall! No dr

DO NOT STAY HERE! We called it Motel Hell! It was disgusting, dirty and run down! Rooms smell like mold and mildew. There's no soap in the rooms but they have a plastic bucket on the sink marked USED SOAP! Guess they collect people's used soap to provide to other guests! The pictures of this place make it seem nicer than it actual is! There are no coffee pots in any of the rooms! You have to step up to get into your room and step up to get into your bathroom. Everything falls off the walls including pictures and towel racks! Dead bugs smashed on the wall and not cleaned up! You're better off spending a bit more money and going elsewhere! No smoke alarms in the rooms. Not even sure how this place is still open with so many safety violations!
