Off the beaten path, but close to the hubbub of the city of Bar Harbor and spectacular Acadia Nat’l Park. BEAUTIFUL water front on Eastern Bay - we watched lobster fishermen ply their trade. Super peaceful. Rustic but fully modernized rooms.

Beautiful location! Absolutely stunning. Very clean, every nook and cranny! There’s a wood stove in our room! They sell fire logs, just perfect for ambiance. Views are so gorgeous. Host David is such a nice person, great hospitality. Quiet, peaceful, we will be back!

We stayed at David and Jayne's Hayloft Suite for our anniversary, and it was nothing short of a beautiful stay. The accommodations were quaint, comfortable and beautiful. We will certainly return again.

This is the way to see Mt. Desert Island and Acadia. So much better than fighting the crowds and craziness of Bar Harbor. Beautiful, very smartly designed, fully equipped little cottages right on the water. And Bar Harbor is right down the road if you need some groceries or a few t shirts. Same with access to the park or the quaint Quiet Side villages of Southwest Or Northeast Harbors. Great Lobster pound nearby along with miniature golf . The owners a like old friends even though you just met them. This place is an absolute gem.

We have stayed in a cottage here for many years. Clean, cozy and comfortable. Super views of the water. Quiet and peaceful. We will be back next year!
