The Inn on Mount Desert

Magic stay on the heart of this very beautiful town. A place full of history that my wife and I loved to support and experience. Large and well equipped rooms, very charming and gives you the idea of being in a house from the last century. Cozy lobby, small gym at the basement and free parking lot at the back. The fact of this hotel/house having elevator is something that we very much appreciated since traveling with large suitcases. The breakfast was à la carte, fast served and tasty. In the meantime there are snacks (mostly cookies) available up for grabs in the lobby and complimentary water

Always a superb place! Exceptional staff and nice room. Our desk host, Analee was always helpful and pleasant, as was Rozalyn, regarding any questions or issues we had. |Your entire staff was super nice and accommodating. The terrific breakfast and great amenities are a bonus. The site is very walkable to the Bar Harbor area, and a close drive to ANP hiking, which was the main focus of our visit. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Really lovely overnight stay here in a family room. Friendly & welcoming service. Breakfast being provided was a welcome surprise. The hotel is in a nice spot & our room was great, clean & with comfy beds. Highly recommended. We especially love that it's a family run business & not a big chain 😊

We had a great off-season stay here. Loved all the little touches including the decor, the complementary snacks in the lobby, and the breakfast. The room was surprisingly large, and felt very cozy, clean and comfortable. The front desk also left a treat for us for our anniversary. Great service!
