Bar Harbor Motel

This motel is awesome! It was recommended to us by family members that have stayed here every year for the last 20 years. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. The breakfast was more than a continental breakfast offering eggs, proteins, bagels, breads, muffins, fruit, and so much more. The laundry facilities were great. The activities offered look like so much fun. It would definitely be somewhere families with children would enjoy. Be sure to check out the trail leaving the back of the grounds that leads into Acadia National Park.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Bar Harbor Hotel! The styling is so fun, yet everything was still functional and useful. The location was convenient to Acadia. There were even hiking trails from the property that led to the park. They had fun events for kids throughout the week. The breakfast was phenomenal, and we were so very thankful for some gluten free options! Thank you for thinking of those who require special diets. If you are considering this hotel, you will not regret booking!

Loved our stay here. We had a 2 bedroom family room. It was spotlessly cleaned. All staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Included breakfast exceeded our expectations! They even wrote a happy birthday message to me on the large board in the breakfast room, lol! Location was great. It was an easy, safe walk into downtown, but there is also a shuttle stop right out front. A carriage road access trail into the park was directly behind our room. We walked the trails all the way to the Hull Visitors center! I will definitely stay here again and have recommended it to several people wanting to visit the area. Thank you for helping make my 60th birthday perfect!

This is hands down the best place to stay while visiting Acadia! The staff are warm and welcoming, the rooms are spotless, and the breakfast—delicious and included with your stay—is a perfect start to the day. The entire property is clean, quiet, and incredibly convenient. You can literally step right off the back of the motel and walk straight into Acadia National Park. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our trip—highly recommend! This place made our first visit to Maine truly memorable.

We stayed a Thursday - Monday with 2 adults and 2 children in a two-bedroom suite. The rooms were so quiet and clean. The atmosphere was perfect for either a couple or a family traveling with young kids. The breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. The location is perfect for jumping on the free bus to Acadia parks or Bar Harbor downtown, or for driving to the activities. We all loved our stay and would love to come back again.
