Roamstead Smoky Mountains Campground

This was our first visit to Roamstead and our first trip with our travel trailer to the Smokey Mountains. It was an awesome experience! Our trailer site was 35 and had an amazing view and access to water that ran through the grounds. There was plenty of space for our 30 foot Grand Design trailer. The grounds and common areas were very well kept. You could see the staff daily, making sure the sites were kept up and they looked very well maintained. The sites rest rooms and showers were very clean and well maintained as well. The staff at the lodge were helpful and friendly. We will be visiting again and try one of the cabins or yurts.

From the moment you walk into the lodge, you’re greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality — and grabbing a cocktail after setting up camp felt like the perfect way to settle in.||The location couldn’t be better. Access to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is literally just steps from your campsite, making it effortless to explore the trails and take in the natural beauty all around.||On Saturday night, Roamstead had the Tennessee game playing, costume contests for the kids, and trick-or-treating — all of which we had an absolute blast participating in. The best campground I have ever stayed at! Super friendly and helpful staff, we checked in after hours from a long trip back from Florida and someone came over and showed us to our site. Very clean and the restrooms are top notch. Love the creek running through the campground. So close to everything, trails shopping, restaurants. The absolutely perfect place to stay! Will definitely be staying at Roamstead again.

we loved our stay. Roamstead is really such a unique experience in the way that it feels like a small community of people coming together. Wether at breakfast in the lobby, your cabin neighbors enjoying their fire outside, or simply seeing kids running around and playing. The staff were also incredible! So friendly, warm, and welcoming. The food and drinks offered in the lobby for breakfast and dinner were great! The cabin itself was adorable. Very cute and quiet. The bathroom was clean, the shower pressure and temperature was incredible, and the shower products felt luxurious. We genuinely had such a lovely stay.

We recently hosted our Weekend in the Smokies event here, and the experience was flawless from start to finish.
