Cosby Creek Cabins

My husband and I started staying at Bear Pause cabin ten years ago and we were there for two nights this past weekend. THE GOOD: it’s ALWAYS clean!! It’s cozy, mostly secluded/private (someone is building next door :( though), the area is pretty quiet and the view is great while soaking in the hot tub! We LOVE the wood burning fireplace and the jacuzzi tub upstairs in the loft. THE BAD: the sleeper sofa has been in bad shape since our first stay ten years ago, so one can imagine it’s much worse ten years later. The mattress inside is absolutely disgusting and I wouldn’t dare have anyone sleep there!! 🤢 The jacuzzi tub is wonderful other than having to use a washcloth as a stopper. The plug/stopper has been broken for a few years at least because I mentioned that issue to the rental company

We stayed in the Hidden Hideaway Cabin 9-22-24 thru 9-27-24. Loved the cabin, it was quiet and right beside Cosby Creek.|We spent a day in Smoky Mountains NP and the views from Newfound Gap were incredible.|It rained most of the week but the cabin was such a nice place to hang out, play games, watch movies and relax in the hot tub.|We spent a day in Pigeon Forge which is about a 30 minute drive thru the scenic foothills.|As we were following coverage of Hurricane Helene, we were quite surprised to see it forecast to be moving into the mountains by the end of the week!|As we were leaving on the 27th, my husband spoke to a gentleman in the rental office. He suggested an alternate route out of town to avoid any potential flooding. We weren’t concerned as the creek behind the cabin was still w

Location is only 25 mins from gatlinburg. Nice to stay away from the hustle and bustle. Road traffic can be heard at times from the porches. Love that there's a creek behind it and can go fishing. Clean and comfortable tho new mattresses are needed. We had a lovely stay.

It was very nice and up to date. The cabin itself was lovely, the location however was not even kinda private.. the online photos did a good job of making it look like it was secluded and private but we were 30 feet from a busy road. Will be staying again but maybe a different cabin

Very quiet, cozy, creekside cabin at the edge of the Smoky Mountains. Everything was clean, heat was warm, and the hot tub was perfect. We will go back.
