Gatlinburg East / Smoky Mountain KOA Holiday

The best camping experience ever! Super nice staff at the desk and easy check in and they gave us Valentines cookies. Provided so much info on the campground! Went for Valentine's and our anniversary and they made it a terrific camping weekend! We had a cabin and it was so clean, had everything we needed and they were super fast when we had a question. Valentines activities all day was provided and they had breakfast waffles with strawberries and chocolate..had Valentine's dinner delivered to the cabin-alfredo pasta, bread sticks, salad and Valentine's cookies! Trash picked up at site, had option for firewood delivery to your site.we had our pups so we had the pet friendly cabin and it was all set for them..food and water bowls, pet gates up on the porch! Love this Campground for its outdoor way of doing things. Plenty of trees, if you want exercise walk the campground! Up & down & all around it is gravel & has hills so the heart will pump & legs will get a workout. Beautiful trees, nice woodsy feel and many large rocks. Now when in a campground like this you also have to have common sense. 1) There are bears around & they do go through the campground. DO NOT leave items out to bring them to your door. 2) If you have a very large camper

First time staying in one of the cabins. We were pleasantly surprised. Cabin was roomy, well equipped, bed was comfy, loved the deck with patio furniture. We usually camp here but would definitely not hesitate to stay in the cabins again 💕💕💕💕

Had a bit of a rocky start, there was some miscommunication when it came to our reservation. Once everything was sorted out our stay was great. Cabin was nice (only complaint was the pillows were really flat), having the fire pit in the evenings was a great way to relax, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a very nice campground. We stayed in November so it wasn’t crowded. There is a hill to climb from the entrance. They have plenty of speed bumps. We had a basic back-in spot. It was fairly level, we could have been a little more level if the sewer location was farther back on the spot. It was about 1/2 was from the road. We had to park the trailer closer the front of the spot to connect. We used the restrooms with showers. They are nice, and each is a private room. Their camp store had lots of supplies. We booked using their app and check in was easy. It about 20 minutes from Gatlinburg. It was nice and quiet at night. We would stay again if we’re in the area.
