Bear Pause Log Cabin Smoky Mountains

This is our third time, staying with a group of 15 women for ladies retreat, and they never cease to amaze me. This family owned and operated cabin is absolutely beautiful. The folks are friendly and very accommodating, and we could not be more grateful. Definitely highly highly recommend this spot for tranquility for beauty, Rest, great, hiking trails and close to so many attractions.

I chose this cabin for my engagement and it was the perfect place! John and Jenni were great hosts the entire time and even called us before a winter storm to make sure that we were well prepared for it. The cabin itself is beautiful just like the mountains that surround it. We had an amazing time!

This is a beautiful, clean, well-kept home. We had two families of 4 sharing this space for a week. One slept upstairs, one downstairs. It was large enough that we didn't feel on top of each other. We loved that it was centrally located between various attractions but out far enough that we had quiet when we sat out on the porch to look at the gorgeous views. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The cabin was everything we wanted and more! The views were gorgeous and the hot tub was used every night! It was so peaceful and quite. It’s a bit far from everything but totally worth it because you are away from the city life. When we come back we are definitely booking this cabin again! The hosts were superb! The neighbors dog even gave us a visit and she was so sweet and hung with us while we had a bonfire!

We love our stay here! The house is so spacious and everything is clean! Necessities for the stay were provided, I love the wrap around porch, the decor, the bathrooms which are very spacious, the lay out of the house. The hosts are very nice and responsive, they promptly answered our questions and made you feel welcome through their messages. The location is very quiet that you can hear the birds chirping! The hot tub is a great place to spend the evening to relax! I would go back there again if given the chance!
