We stayed here for 4 days in mid-June. We didn’t have any trouble getting reservations (although the reservation site used has an issue with multiple side slides) and, in fact, had to extend our stay due to a vehicle malfunction. There’s a zoo next door (not noisy except the peacock), several fishing ponds, a huge dog park with multiple sections, and a wonderful bike/walking path right along the river. There is a train track close, but I haven’t heard them blast a single horn. Our site, #1, was easy to get in and out of, and was at least 50 feet long. All sites appear to be pull throughs. At no time while we were there were all the spots taken. There are also a lot of tent sites, but they’re on the opposite side of the restroom/shower house. I can’t speak to the cleanliness of the restroom

I have the mixed feeling about this campground. It is located right next to Scotts Bluff NM, surrounded by YMCA and Riverside Discovery Center (zoo). The location is excellent and the price is very reasonable for full hookup. The surrounding is so beautiful especially during the sunset. The only downside is the facility is outdated. Only two showers and one of them is broken, so long waiting line. The shortcut from Discovery Center is blocked so a long dirt road to the campground. It's hot and dry during the day and no shade. But I think the pros outweighs the cons.

This is a fair priced RV park with large parking spots great for big rigs. Full hookups were nice as well. Really cool to hear the Hyenas at night from the zoo. It’s very dry and dusty. The trains are noisy. The bathrooms are in poor shape and very dirty. No toilet paper. If they kept the bathrooms in nice shape, and kept the dust down this would be 5 star.

I wasn't sure what to expect with the mixed reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. We needed a place to pitch a tent for one night on a road trip, and this worked very well. The camp and entire park are well kept, the bathrooms were old but functional and clean. One complaint is the boys told me there was no soap or paper towels in the men's room, but there were soap and a hand dryer in the women's. The tent sites had grass at a good height and nice little picnic tables that seemed pretty new. We got in too late to make it to the zoo and splash pad, but the kids liked the playground and my husband and I enjoyed the nice new walking path and the views of the bluff and the river. The big downside was noise, when we first went to bed we could hear the nearby raceway, and you could hear the

Online advertising shows a much nicer campsite than in reality. The road to get to the campground is terrible with ruts, so you'd better drive SLOWLY. We stopped at the camp host camper (who barely came out of the door) and got a flyer along with a small piece of paper with the wifi pass code on it (which seemed to keep timing out). The bathroom was okay, but the property itself was overgrown and is in need of some major clean-up. The flyer we got says it is located within five minutes of most attractions-be advised, it will take longer than that to get to the main road! The best thing about this campsite is the view.
