Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Scottsbluff

Location is convenient. My experience with Fairfield Inn has been positive, but this location was certainly different. First room air-conditioning/heating unit was not working. Lady at the front desk was very courteous. She moved us to a different room. Air conditioning/heating unit was super noisy. We were not able to sleep all night. Breakfast options were slim to nothing and generally not the quality. I have experience at Fairfield Inn in Texas, Illinois, or Georgia.

Positive: The staff are always very nice and accommodating. Negative: The breakfast needs to do much better as far as the entrees. The liquid eggs taste like cardboard and usually 1 meat. For the money you pay for a room this should be much better and will be the sole reason I start booking elsewhere.

First, all the good stuff. It’s got a great location, easy to get to if you’re traveling through Scottsbluff. Not on the main road so it was quiet. Front desk staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Gave me a great dinner recommendation, Roma Italian Kitchen. Breakfast was good with all the usual bagels, muffins, cereal, eggs, waffles, etc…The problem was the half cleaned room. I think the person got interrupted when they were cleaning because the room was clean (although one of the beds did have some strange thing stuck on the sheet) but the rug, counters, tables all clean and smelled clean. The bathroom however needed improvement. The shower curtain was dirty, the toilet seat was wet and the toilet was clearly not wiped down because you could see the pee on it, hair in the tub. Th

I have stayed here a lot. The rooms are clean and the people friendly. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub have been out of order for several months. So if that's important I would ask if it's fixed before making a reservation. The continental breakfast is not very good for a Marriott brand hotel in my opinion. But, it's okay. Giving it 4 stars assuming they will fix the pool and Hot tub.

We were attending a funeral and most family were at this hotel. They were very helpful and accommodating for our group. Sad the pool and hot tub were closed though. Thank you.
