Quality Inn

I do not recommend staying here. It's a hole in the wall. Room was not clean and it was falling apart. They were upstairs doing something with hammers till after 9pm. We had to call the desk to get them to stop. The side door into the hotel was broken. There were broken down cars in the parking lot. One looked like someone was living in it. Breakfast was a joke and gross looking. We stayed here because of reviews said it was nice and clean. It was far from clean. The shower was disgusting and had mold. There was white stuff down the side of the bed. The light switches and knobs were black.

The staff and owner here were great. Very accommodating and friendly. Our room was comfortable with adequate amenities. Exercise room was kind of lame but it's a budget inn, for sleeping. Ole's restaurant two blocks away is a real convenience and very good.

There was not enough staff to man the front desk at all. The cleaning in rooms was subpar and the hotel needs upgraded. We stayed one night of our 2 night reservation. We were told our reservation was non cancelable so no money would be returned. My brother got us rooms at a different hotel in area for the second night. We were there for a funeral and when we asked about bereavement rates we were told they had those but we had pre-paid so they could not give us the rate now. No handicap rooms available and no way to get into the pool, that I could find, and nobody to ask for directions. Poorly run hotel and definitely a rundown hotel. Would not recommend to anyone.

We had such a wonderful stay here! From the moment we checked in, the people who run this hotel made us feel genuinely welcome. They’re incredibly friendly, attentive, and go out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable. It really felt like they cared about us, not just as customers, but as people. The hotel itself was clean, relaxing, and had everything we needed for a great trip. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and it made our time away from home so enjoyable. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already talking about when we can come back. Thanks again to the amazing staff for making our stay so memorable — we’ll definitely be returning!

Check-in was polite, room was fine. External intermittent noise was distracting and continuous through the night as well as daytime. Breakfast was standard choice fayre, the eggs were better than most (ie consistency , still need plenty of seasoning!)
