Riverhurst Park Campground

This a beautiful hidden gem! Located directly on the bank of the Allegheny river, this park offers one mile of riverfront camping, perfect for kayaking, fishing, swimming or simply taking in the sights. Located near many local attractions, it’s a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploration of the region. Plans are underway to add additional 50amp sites and is big rig friendly. Definitely a must stay if you’re in the area.

This is an absolutely beautiful, well maintained campground. It’s small, peaceful and serene with beautiful views. I was so excited for our 5 night trip- we came from Ohio and the reviews indicated all of this plus very friendly owners and staff. What more could we ask for? Making your way in, there is a 10ft 10 in. bridge that there is no way a camper can fit under without damaging it. Take the truck route in to avoid this. I called and asked for the alternative route and the woman was very friendly and directed us which way to go. She greeted us right at our truck when we got there and told us where to find our campsite. We later found out her name is Judy and we appreciated her going out of her way to reach out to us after an issue we had on our trip. We found our campsite with

Full hook up site right on the river. Sites have plenty of room between the neighboring sites. Never saw any campground employees, not that we needed them for any issues. There is ice and firewood that you pay for on the honor system. The campground was easy to miss coming in, the entrance sits back off the road. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. The mosquitos were horrible while we were there, highly suggest bug spray and citronella candles.

First time to this campground and we were amazed at how beautiful and well kept the property was. Owners Dave and Cindy are great people and very accommodating! Picturesque park like setting with river access right outside your door. The campground offers kayaks to borrow for a trip on the river which was a great perk. We’re already planning our next trip back here!

Wonderful campground! We stayed here in July 2025. We were impressed with the friendly staff, spacious camp sites, and peaceful atmosphere. We will definitely be going back.
