River Spruce Cabins

We stayed at River Spruce Cabins during the summer, and our stay did not disappoint. The sounds of the river, the stunning mountain views, and the nearby wildlife made it very peaceful and relaxing. It’s also very close to the main entrance of the national park, which made it incredibly convenient for exploring and daily adventures. We stayed in the Pow Wow Cabin, which was perfect for our group. It has two rooms on the main floor and a loft above, offering plenty of space and a cozy atmosphere. The staff on site were very friendly, and it was lovely to see other families enjoying their evenings by the fire. Overall, it was a memorable and relaxing getaway — we would definitely return!

We have chosen to stay at River Spruce for 20 yrs now. We were surprised to learn that it had been sold when we arrived. We always stay in Dream Catcher as we love the tranquility of the river and quiet area. We were surprised to find it not updated since we were there last and very dirty. First and foremost, there was no FIRE EXTINGUISHER in the cabin! The couch, bedding and shower curtain are at least 20 yrs old! The hot tub had scummy bubbles in it the first night we tried to use it. The oven was filthy and stunk up the cabin when I used it. I moved the couch and found dust, dirt and debris under it. (Pictures attached) The tub looked like it hadn’t been scoured. I have contacted the owners 3 times now and haven’t received a response. They increased the price tremendously with no update

Absolutely loved it! The cabin was clean and cozy, and more spacious than expected for a couple. It had everything we needed and more. The hot tub is a major plus and the lake is so peaceful. The location is amazing, extremely close to RMNP, gas stations and grocery stores. Highly recommend!!

We had such a great stay at River Spruce Cabins! The place truly felt like home—super clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The river right outside was amazing, with such a beautiful and peaceful view. We also really appreciated the easy code entry, which made check-in simple and stress-free. Everything was thoughtfully set up, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot in Estes Park. We’d definitely stay here again!

As we love coming up to the cabins in Estes Park we have stayed in the Tom Tom a few times. I can honestly say I dont know if I would return I swear they have not changed mattresses since 2017. The hot tub water was disgusting hardley any jets worked. I stepped on a nail or something on the floor. The towels under the sink for hot tub smelled like urine. There are so many cabins in Estes Park to choose from, the thing the is a must is a hot tub because of hiking during the day we love coming back to relax. Hopefully the owners will take reviews seriously because this property has so much potential
