Rideau Motor Inn

So like everyone that left a review the rooms are definitely a little dated .. but you can definitely see that there have been upgrades to the rooms . Stayed four night ocean front .. room was clean ac worked and mini fridge kept all are drinks cold . Had the do not disturb sign on the door and when we left are room we bumped into house keeping the asked if we had any dirty towels or if we need more . We kept the sign on and while we where out and about the office called threw out are stay to let us know house keeping is leaving for the day and do we need anything . Great view from are balcony could not be any closer to the boardwalk ! While there definitely was some noise from the boardwalk while on the balcony .but once in the room for the night we had no trouble sleeping . The pool w

Positive: One of the front office staff was the owner and extremely friendly and helpful. Negative: It was very dated. It was clean but very old. The hallway looked like a prison. I thought it should be more like a 2 or 2.5 star.

I was just in Ocean City for Ocean’s Calling music festival. Finding a nice place to stay is hard enough as it is in Ocean City mix in the all the people traveling into the city for the weekend it gets crazy. This was our third year going to the festival and im angry it took me until my 3rd year to find Christina and the Rideau Motel!! We were right outside the venue. Could not have been any closer. Now this establishment much like most hotels/motels in the Ocean City area are rather old. That being said this was the cleanest establishment we have had the pleasure of staying at. So if you’re looking for a Ritz Carlton ocean city isn’t the destination for you. The Owner Christina called in advance to ask if we needed anything special for our room gave me a contact number months out. (V

Ocean front disgusting hole in the wall …. No Room was filthy. No USB ports to charge your phones, no iron, no blow dryer. When asked, the front desk did bring us an iron and blow dryer when I asked where the ironing board was she replied oh we don’t have any. This is just a mom and Pop Motel. I then replied $300 plus a night for this mom and Pop motel?? no apology no, nothing, not even excuses for their shortcomings. I could’ve stayed many places much nicer for comparable pricing. Never ever again. Having a one year-old and trying not to allow him to walk and crawl on a filthy floor is beyond comprehensible. The hallway smelled like pee.

Location- The location is perfect. It's right on the boardwalk. We had no issues with parking. The pool is open from 10am-10pm and they have an outside shower to clean up from the beach. Rooms- The room was old. We were in a corner and it did not feel safe at all. There is a big window that faces the hallway so people walking in the hallway could see inside the room. Now, all that is annoying but it's only for a couple of days. What was difficult to deal with was how dirty the room was. It was extremely dusty, the bathroom was dirty and the sink is super low. The water pressure is horrible. Worst of all, we saw a roach!
