Residence Inn by Marriott Silver Spring

I agree with everyone's inputs on how bad this place is and the folks behind the desk argue with you. I stay in Residence Inn's all across America and not once EVER had me register with a parking app, then charge me for the privilege of parking at their location(12/day). Oh, BTW, just received a bill from their parking enforcement agency telling us we violated the parking rules and now owe 75 dollars!!! We now have to fight with a webpage with no phone number to call and have to take time to straighten this out!||In addition, when I called to change my reservation from 5 days to 4, they said they could not as they were booked solid for the weekend...even though I was not asking for another day just removal of one! My stay at the Residence Inn in Silver Spring was very pleasant. I liked the place from the moment I walked into the lobby. It was sparkling clean, neat and bright. It smelled good. And the staff were quite friendly. They even gave me a small package of disinfectant wipes! What a nice touch. My room was spotless including the kitchen and sofa. The bathroom felt like it was brand new. Everything including the floor and the glass shower were sparkling. I didn’t need the wipes, really. The bed sheets were soft which helped me sleep well. And I love that they’re pet friendly, although the $125 pet fee was steep for a one night stay. I wish all hotels were as high quality as this one. Highly recommended.

The 2 bedroom suite was very spacious and provided us exactly what we needed. Free breakfast is clutch as well. The eggs need work though. Overall I would stay here again.

I had an extended stay here for about 4.5 months. The management is among the best I’ve ever had during my many travels to different hotels. The rooms are nice, location is well maintained, and parking is plentiful. The location of the hotel is the most ideal with everything you need right by it. Gas station, Giant grocery, Target, and many food spots all within walking distance. Unfortunately it is right next to a major hospital and intersection so you get lots of sirens and traffic noise in the background but it’s not insufferable.

We were so pleased with our stay here! We reserved 6 rooms for our family to stay for 3 days so we could attend a wedding and reception nearby. The staff were all so accommodating with our crazy schedule. The breakfast is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is amazing! Especially thank you Feleki for being so helpful for us! We have stayed here before and we will definitely stay here again.
