Hilton Garden Inn Silver Spring White Oak

Hotel is in a decent location although last year we stayed here and someones car was broken in to. There are places to eat nearby. Room is dated but ok. Hot water was room temp in the morning. They charge for breakfast then dont have regular breakfast items. We ate there once on a four day trip and they brought us something we didn't order and said thats all they have. Then forgot another part of the order that we asked for three times while eating. Bring your own toilet paper as what they offer is so thin it's see through. Didn't have cleaning while we were there at all, at least for our room. Told the lady we'd be gone 2 hours and she was right by our room and 3 hours later she says she was about to get there. We stayed for two nights, and overall, the hotel was just okay. It’s an older property, and the rooms really need some upgrades. The carpet throughout the hotel was noticeably dirty and definitely needs a deep cleaning — my socks got dirty within minutes of walking around the room. There was no room service during our stay, the pillows were flat, and while the bed was firm, it was uncomfortable. As a rewards member, we normally receive complimentary bottled water, but at this location, it was $2 per bottle in the room. No lotion in the lotion bottle attached to the wall in the bathroom (Empty) , and when I mentioned it to the front desk, the response was simply, “Oh wow.” The view from our room was AC units, which was disappointing. Positive: Location Negative: The Room is not clean specially washroom. And the next day is not refilli water and towel.

It worked for what I needed. The room at first glance look good but on further inspection there's water stains on the ceiling and in the drawers, the shower leaks and the sink is cracked. Housekeeping did a decent job but just know they just remake the bed they don't put fresh sheets on. Location is great, it's next to a bunch of restaurants and literally down the road from a shopping centre.

Most of the rooms have the electric roll-up blinds NOT WORKING...!!!! The cleaning girls are not trained.!!! I give this hotel minus one 🌟 Good bones the building itself is okay. Only one elevator working. Breakfast..????? I would rather go to Mickie Ds or IHOP...!!!
