DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC Silver Spring

Best hotel that I have stayed at in Silver Spring. I used to stay at the other hotel nearby but the noise from the gym below kept me from sleeping so I tried this hotel. The rooms are much larger, the staff way more professional AND they have a real Starbucks in the lobby not a mini-Starbucks. The beds are super comfortable and the privacy shades keep it super dark and it's so quiet. There is a new MOMs market right next door if you need anything. Highly recommend.

From the time I walked in until they time i checked out. I had and absolutely wonderful experience. Miss Leo at the front desk was such a joy to speak to and very honest and upfront about other restaurants to try while in town to make my stay more enjoyable. I can't speak High Enough of such a joy she is to speak with. You can honestly model the way she is and encourage others to be just like her. I will be back and stay at this exact Hotel on my next travel to the area.

My stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC Silver Spring was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time, and it was extremely disappointing given the DoubleTree brand's reputation. The issues started immediately at check-in. The front desk clerk had a very unpleasant and unwelcoming attitude. Instead of being welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing them by simply checking in. Customer service sets the tone for the stay, and unfortunately, the tone here was unprofessional from the start. I was also surprised that this location does not offer a military discount upon check-in. I didn’t see the option when reserving the hotel, but usually, hotels are great at offering this accommodation upon arrival. Many Hilton properties support service members, so this was disappoi

We experienced outstanding and friendly service provided by Lisa Eady. She was very helpful in planning our trip to the Smithsonian on public transportation and helping us with numerous special requests that others might have found annoying. She greeted every question with humor, encouraging us to enjoy our time and in fact, we booked a second night we had not planned on.
