Residence Inn by Marriott Norwalk

Stayed here for a business trip for a few days. Rooms are great size and have a small kitchen. Very clean and fairly updated/modern. Provides a nice breakfast in the AM. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. Great location too. Lots of restaurants and shops to enjoy. Only negative is how close to the train tracks it is. You can hear the train, which does stop late at night, but can hear before 12am and around 530am onward. Would stay aga8n regardless.

This was our second stay at this hotel. Both experiences were very positive. In our visit last month, Bryan G. was at the Front Desk and was extremely cordial and professional. It was a pleasure speaking with him. My daughter just spent one night at the hotel with her family and shared that she had a very nice man at the front desk checking them in. Upon asking her if his name was by chance “Bryan” she affirmed “ yes!”. The hotel has an easy on/off access to Route 95 so it is perfect for weary travelers and is located to many excellent dining choices. Breakfast was far superior to many other hotels. Thank you all!

This place had an upbeat and positive feel. The staff was more than helpful and our needs were met quickly and efficiently. Breakfast was well done. The place was clean and well maintained. The location was awesome for anyone interested in exploring SONO. FYI-there are good restaurants walking distance, there are also several great parks for kids of all ages--also walking distance. This place also has a roof top bar which has a fun view. We stayed on the fourth floor in the front of the hotel and could definitely hear the bar music--but it stopped around 10 or 11. If you have to be asleep before that time I would a recommend asking for a room on a lower floor or not directly under the bar. If not just go upstairs and enjoy the fun.

We arrived in Norwalk at 11:30 AM with a group and stoped but the hotel to asks few questions about parking, which they charge for. At 3:11 PM I received an email that the room type I reserved was not available. At checking in about 5:30 PM I was asked if they could ‘upgrade’ me, from two queens to a king and roll away bed which was not comfortable. I said that I would prefer the room type reserved, but received the king room instead and was told a roll away would be give. When we returned from out event at 11:30 PM that night I came to my room to find a roll away bed outside my room door which I then had to roll in and set up myself and then go to the front desk for blankets. I just feel like this situation was poorly handled and organized in the Hotels best interest not us as the custome

We had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn Norwalk. From the moment we arrived, the experience surpassed what we anticipated. The staff truly made our visit memorable—Bryan George and Mike Stevenson were exceptionally helpful during check-in, providing excellent recommendations for local dining that we thoroughly enjoyed.|The combination of comfortable accommodations and outstanding service made this hotel a great choice. The decor of the lobby and bar also provided a very unique atmosphere. We'd happily return on our next visit to the area.
