Norwalk Inn

We had the best stay at this adorable inn. It’s charming, cozy, and feels so welcoming from the moment you walk in. There’s a restaurant and bar right inside, which makes everything so convenient and the bar being open late (especially on weekends) was such a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious, and the whole place has such a warm, inviting vibe. The staff truly made the experience though, everyone was so kind and accommodating. A special thank you to Tyler at the front desk for being especially helpful and welcoming. It made our stay that much better. Can’t wait to come back!

Spent a fabulous weekend at this property while my boiler was being fixed. The staff was super accommodating, and the room was immaculate. The bonus - they have a restaurant onsite that serves fresh, homemade food - none of that pre-packaged, just heat and serve food served by hotel chains! And the price was reasonable! I couldn't be any happier with the Norwalk Inn. It is now my family's go-to hotel when we have guests coming over. They are the best!

The main staff of the establishment are top notch, the food and drinks are fairly priced compared to what’s nearby, even from the grocery store which is respectable. Only one bad experience with the head of security who accused my guest and me of “partying in the parking lot” when we had no drinks on hand and were simply taking a smoke break in the car with no intention of littering, which I take seriously to avoid. Other than that, this is a Great hotel where the staff is welcoming and warm. Please stay Here and enjoy your time in Connecticut. It has been a much better experience than any chain hotel I’ve stayed with, the food, bar, and employees are fantastic. I hope that security person can take a lesson in hospitality from the high standard this hotel strives to maintain.

Positive: Our dinner was excellent but dessert was not available. Negative: This is not a 4. Star hotel. The lobby, dining room, bar and lounge were fine.our room smelled mildew, no complimentary as advertised, only ceramic (2) coffee cups but no plastic cups, face cloths, hand towels and no decaf for the keurig.

Stayed here for one night. I was tempted by the on site restaurant but ended up going out for pizza instead. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and put me in a first floor room, which felt a little odd at first, but thankfully the room had blackout curtains. When I got to the room, I assumed the door would close on its own like most hotels, but it didn’t. I ended up lying on the bed decompressing on my phone for about 90 minutes, then got up to use the restroom and noticed the door was slightly ajar, which was a bit unsettling. The room itself was slightly cramped but fine for a short stay. I checked out the basement gym briefly and it was very small. The property could use some updates overall.
