Residence Inn by Marriott Moline Quad Cities

Omg! We’ve been on the road for 17 days mostly staying in Marriott properties and we finally came across an amazing hotel desk personnel . She was great. Offered us soup and salad being served in the restaurant area and we even spun a wheel for extra points. The room was the great. We threw everything all over before I took pictures but it was perfect for what we need. It’s like a little apartment. Everything was great quality in the room. I know that’s what all the Residence inns are supposed to be but this was great. Definitely beats all the Fairfield Inns and SpringHill suites we’ve stayed in . We were able to spread out and relax. Special thanks to Sales Director Shannon for helping us select just the perfect room for us — 2 months before our arrival. We had the 2-Bedroom(One King, one Queen)/2-Bathroom (tubs in both) Suite with screened windows for a breeze. Thanks also to Colleen on the front desk who was so kind as to assist us in timing our exact arrival to the room’s readiness. She also invited us to play the hotel’s check-in game, which won us an extra 1,000 Marriott points. The laundry room on the lobby floor is spotless ($2.75 wash/$2.25 dry; 3 of each and by credit card only). Adjacent is a fitness room with plenty of towels, free weights and a doctor’s scale. I stayed in this Moline Residence Inn from 10/2/25 - 10/5/25 with my wife, siblings, and sister-in-law for the Hennepin Hundred ultramarathon. The hotel is clean and well-kempt. It is admittedly mildly dated. However the rooms are very clean and apart from some dated carpet it’s in great shape. The pool and hot tub are clean and quiet. I’m leaving this review because the staff from start to finish were simply outstanding. In particular the manager(?) Christina Garzon was kind, helpful, and accommodating. Even when we left early on Sunday (the day before our checkout date and well past noon), she graciously allowed us to check out without penalty, no questions asked, perhaps recognizing that I could scarcely walk after a tough run. We just checked out at 11:45 1/1/26. As we were leaving today me and my husband told the woman at the desk Happy new Year after we gave her the keys. She did not say anything back as we awkwardly looked at each other we just walked away. I really felt like that was rude and having that kind of job you would think she would be happy to greet people and not look so angry. Happy New year Everyone
