Holiday Inn Express Moline - Quad Cities by IHG

I was in town overnight for work and had an excellent experience at this property. It was quick and easy to find from the interstate. The room was clean and quiet, I did not hear noise from other guests nor the airport traffic, which was just across the street. The room was nicely decorated and in good repair, with updated bathroom fixtures. There was no bathtub, which made no difference to me, but may be a desire for others. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the thermostat was accurate and responsive. Breakfast was a little smaller than other Hampton's I've stayed at with scrambled eggs and sausage, waffles, muffins and hot/cold cereals. I did not use the pool or hot tub. I would absolutely stay here again!

I've stayed here before almost 3 years ago and the staff was amazing. Coming back into town for a funeral and as miserable as I already was, I was not treated appropriately upon check in and then same with housekeeping. Angie from housekeeping was so disgustingly rude. We could hear her outside of our room,we were in 115 by the elevators and she was gossiping about her own staff and being very unprofessional. We opened the door and asked for more towels and she went and got them but then went right back to gossiping with a coworker and not working. I opened the door again and asked if they could move away from the door as I could hear them very clearly and after an eye roll they moved down a little bit but for the next 10 mins or so they just sat and talked badly about the hotel. I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this hotel! When I initially made my reservation, I accidentally booked the wrong dates. I was worried it would be a hassle to fix, but the staff went above and beyond to help me correct the mistake—super accommodating and kind throughout the process. The hotel itself is newly remodeled, and it shows—everything feels fresh, modern, and very clean. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the customer service was truly excellent from start to finish. And let’s talk about the location—Stellar if you are flying in or out of the Quad Cities. I will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

Soft sheets. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Good shower head height & water pressure. Good ventilation/exhaust fan in bath. Cons-blackout curtain difficult to operate, short toilet, not enough concrete between floors, could hear movement above us. Breakfast good but even though spot for oatmeal, they didn't have any out.

We stay there to be close to the airport because of an impending very heavy snow. Despite their having to stay at the hotel away from their family they remained helpful and cheerful. The only draw back was the lobby and breakfast area was very cold and a semi pulled in for safety and with it running kept me awake all night. It is an older motel but kept very clean. A great place to stay.
