Residence Inn by Marriott Minneapolis Plymouth

Our experience at the hotel was fine. There are a couple of things to note before you go: Concerns: (1) There is a $10 + tax/nightly fee to park your car in their expansive parking lot. This is unusual for a RI, so it may catch you off guard. (2) This is an older hotel, so you will notice fluctuations in the hot water when you shower. While taking our showers, we experienced the shower changing between what we set it at as well as hot and cold water. Positives: (1) The staff is very friendly and responsive. (2) The hotel is clean and does not feel like an older hotel. (3) The one-bedroom layout is very nice. (Open suitcases will need to be in the living room area because the bedroom is small.) I’m not sure I understand all the positive reviews for this place. The location is good and the staff are friendly, but that’s where the positives end.||The hotel is noisy. It sounds like wood framing, so you hear everyone and everything. It’s not right on the highway (494), but you still hear all traffic if you’re in a room facing the interstate. We were on the 3rd floor and someone above us was stomping around until late, which delayed sleep.||They charge for parking ($10/day in an open/shared lot). This was not clearly shown in the app when I booked. The nice person at the front desk waived it for me since we were only here a night.||The sheets are very coarse and noisy. This is by far one of the nicest residence inn I have ever stayed at. Everything that is supposed to be there is there. The care of every detail is beyond compare. I've stayed in 5 star hotels that didn't show how much the staff and owners care about this hotel.

This hotel is a great place to stay for families and couples. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite that was clean, modern and spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, stainless steel appliances and included a dishwasher! The bed was comfy, the shower had lots of pressure and loved the shampoo/lotion! All of the staff was friendly and made you feel welcome. They had a wonderful get together in the evening (Monday-Wednesday) where we met some really nice people and had great beverages and munchies! Do not hesitate to stay here!

I've stayed here previously and had a great experience, and was pleased to receive great service again this trip. The warm welcome from Ana set the tone, very personable and professional. I like the check in through the Marriott Bonvoy app. My request for a ground level suite was accommodated. My suite, and the entire property, was impeccably maintained. I had absolutely everything I needed, felt safe and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of lovely, thick towels, room temperature was comfortable. Large TV, easy to operate, excellent wi-fi, room darkening shades, plenty of hangers and drawers. Extra bedding available, which was nice as the weather became cooler during my visit and I needed that extra blanket. The salt-water pool area was excellent, clean, great temp,
