Residence Inn by Marriott Long Beach is a solid, budget-friendly option. The location is decent. It’s about a 20-minute Uber ride from the action near the pier and literally five minutes from the airport, which is a big plus. There’s also plenty of parking if you need it. Free breakfast is included, and it’s worth mentioning. Shout out to Elizabeth and her crew for being welcoming and on point. Check-in staff were also very friendly and made the process easy. The rooms are decent and comfortable, though they’re spread out across multiple buildings rather than one central tower. Everything is still accessible, just something to know ahead of time. We stayed here because we decided to cut our stay short on the Queen Mary and wanted to stay somewhere that we knew the quality. We weren’t disappointed. Seamless check in process and even when I requested a 1st floor room there was no hassle. Clean, well appointed rooms and breakfast is always a plus. We were also within 6 minutes of the Long Beach airport. We were surprised to be that close because there was no significant airplane noise.

Positive: Very clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly. I was thinking about going for a cheaper hotel but I'm glad we stuck with this one. It had a great feeling to it. Negative: Ice maker was not working in the refrigerator and the bed didn't seem like it was a king. Felt more like a queen, but I could be wrong.

My niece and her husband stayed here for his work. I got to spend a few days with my niece while he worked. The room was like a small studio apartment, very convenient, well furnished and great location. Living room, bedroom combo with a TV that was on rotating stand. Small peninsula with 2 barstools, very inviting. Plenty of parking close to the rooms, and well maintained grounds.

AMAZING! The gentleman at the Front Desk JESSIE was FANTASTIC!!! He honestly made our stay, upon checking in he seen it was me and my 3 of my sisters and gave us an upgrade for more space... this made our Thanksgiving week (as we were in town for the holiday)!!! The rooms are amazing and spacious, I work for both Hilton and Marriott and most times when i check in, the front desk at places don't go above and beyond because I'm under a team member rate, I'll be staying here again SOON! All front desk agents were amazing! Love it here!
