Residence Inn by Marriott Lakeland

This Residence Inn exceeded my expectations in every category, and I highly recommend. ||Here’s why:|My younger brother is developmentally disabled, and when I took him and my elderly mother here recently, I was absolutely blown away by how supportive, engaging and genuinely caring they were. ||Seriously - the front desk and kitchen team are amazing at what and how they do their jobs, and from the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you for helping to make my brother and mom feel so special! Everyone was great, and special call out to Phoebe and Amber! ||Also, you could feel the pride all the employees took in creating a home away from home community, and I observed a number of repeat business guests being warmly welcomed back. ||I’m already looking forward to returning.

Very nice and accommodating place to stay. The staff is courteous and helpful. Very clean inside and out.

Stayed here 2 nights - December 26 & 27. Check in was fine. Got to our room fairly clean but bathtub looked like they tried to repair the bottom of the tub and didn’t do a very good job and the bathtub looked dirty. Bed was comfortable. We checked in late and were tired from traveling and being at the hospital so went straight to bed. Next morning breakfast was supposed to be until 10. Got there around 9 and were pretty much out of everything. Only had 1 employee working the breakfast area. She was sooo overwhelmed and at the end of her rope and no other employees jumped in to help her. Booked this hotel because they had a hot tub and in case we wanted to cook some of our own meals in the kitchen in the room. Inquired at breakfast how late the hot tub was open and was told 9pm. I love this place. Honestly, the front desk people. Tuesday, who works in the evening. And Phoebe, who works in the morning, make you feel not like a guest in a hotel, but like a friend in their own home. They are so kind and go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. I travel for work, and used to stay at a different hotel when I went to Lakeland. I found this one and now this is the only hotel I will go to while I’m in Lakeland. Not to sound strange, but they said the bar so high that I haven’t found anyone else that can match it.

We are locals and needed to stay for about a month while we had house work done, and it truly felt like a home away from home. From the start, the staff made us feel so comfortable and cared for. Our kids looked forward to breakfast every morning, and the ladies who worked in the breakfast area were some of the kindest, most caring people we’ve ever met. They were always so helpful, especially on those early mornings with little ones. We also had so many great conversations with Tuesday at the front desk. She is amazing, and I can honestly say I’ve made a friend in her. Every single housekeeper we met was so kind and helpful too. You can tell that everyone who works there really enjoys their job and takes pride in making guests feel welcome. The suite was spacious, the beds were comfortabl
