If I knew I'd be spending Thanksgiving unshowered and paying $150 to have my dog sleep at my feet for 8 hours then I would have just stayed home and driven into Houston early the next morning. CONS: BEWARE of $150 "pet cleaning fee". This fee isn't mentioned when you book, only when you show up at midnight to check-in with your family after a long roadtrip. Save yourself $150 and DON'T bring your pet through the lobby. Better yet, I'd stay somewhere else because there were more problems.... Our shower wouldn't get hot and the water was barely coming out. Nicole at the front desk let me know that she could send a guy up in a couple days, knowing I'd be gone by then. She didn't offer to move me to another room so I assumed they were full. I asked about it the next day and it turns out she
The experience overall was acceptable. The unit was beat up a little bit, but not badly. The bathroom was in good condition with what looked like a new shower enclosure. The beds were OK with the ridge effect in the middle. The pillows saved the day actually. The staff was nice with no exceptions. My two major complaints were: 1. The AC/Heat unit blows air constantly no matter how you set it. You have to turn it off completely to get a break from air blowing on your face. 2. Maybe this is a laughable first-world problem, but the only coffee available in the building was dark roast. I despise dark roast and had to go without coffee for 4 days. Hotels used to be known for good medium roast coffee or at least offering 2 choices. I guess the Starbucks Kids have wielded their infl
This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, to date. To start off, the hotel looked modern and very clean. The rooms were basically perfect, with all the amenities one could ask for, and the TV’s worked like a charm. The overall atmosphere was excellent, and should be what every hotel, in this price range, strives for. To add on top of that, the front desk and management were VERY CLEAR on what goes on here (e.g. bringing a pet, using their internet, or otherwise), and their standard is set high in enforcing said policy. They were also very friendly in explaining said policy. If I ever was to stay in a hotel, and to be going through the Tomball area, this would most definitely be the one, without a doubt. I thank all of you and all the hard work y’all do everyday for the people pas
I booked a block of rooms here for our wedding and I personally stayed here for 2 nights before our wedding. Based on my experience, I would rate it a 7/10. My room smelled like mildew, 2 of the living room lamps did not work, and the TV in the bedroom did not work. The maintenance staff did quickly fix it the next day but still, I'd think that'd be something that's checked with each person's stay, especially when someone has a block of rooms reserved. The breakfast on Friday morning was very limited to mostly continental breakfast items with a few hot bread options; there weren't any healthy options besides yogurt and bananas. I was told that the breakfast on Saturday had much better options so that's good, however I wish they had the good options every day or make it clear ahead of
Absolute all-star service from Nicole at the front desk. We checked into the Residence Inn in Tomball, TX after booking through a third party (Expedia), and the reservation was a mess. We’re traveling with kids and needed connecting rooms, but Expedia had us split up and basically told us “nothing we can do” unless we wanted to spend another $500. Nicole didn’t just shrug and hand us keys. She jumped in, got on the phone with Expedia herself, and fought for us. She literally saved us about $500 and fixed the entire situation so our rooms worked for our family. On top of that, she personally brought us extra blankets, bedding, and made sure all our kids were comfortable. Not just “here you go” and disappear — she actually cared. Checked in on us. Treated us like family, not just another
