Comfort Suites Tomball Medical Center

My family booked this hotel for 3 nights to attend a funeral in Houston. We had one King room a room with 2 queens. Both on the 3rd floor. The room with the King bed was nicer than the room with the 2 queens. Both rooms were clean. The breakfast was not very well stocked. Yogurt was available only one day during my stay.

I was not happy when we arrived, with the condition of our room. The second room they put us in was mildly better, but the overall atmosphere at the hotel is rundown. We also waited several minutes at the front desk when we arrived for someone to help us check in. After looking at our first room and being dissatisfied, we went downstairs to request a refund. They gave us a hard time about giving us a refund when we requested one. We were clearly not satisfied, and management should have honored our request for a refund if they care about customer satisfaction. The hotel is way overpriced. We spoke with friends who paid for much nicer hotels in the area for less money.

Beware if you are basing your stay off pictures. The pictures are misleading, and there is NOT a hot tub. Although the pictures clearly show one, “ The former hot tub was converted into a kiddie pool some time ago.” according to management. The staff however was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Overall it was not a bad hotel, but when you specifically look for a hotel with a hot tub and see a hot tub in the pictures, then arrive to a approx 60deg pool, and “kiddie pool”, we can’t help but feel like we were misled.

Located well, and affordable. Spacious rooms. Clean, but showing its age with wear and tear. For a night or two it’s fine. Just don’t expect anything special.

Don't stay at this pool if you want to enjoy a pool. The indoor pool is unheated and around 65 degrees. Way too cold to enjoy. They should just close down the pool if they are not going to heat it.
