Residence Inn by Marriott Hartford Manchester

Friendly and helpful staff. Had a minor leak and this was addressed and resolved within minutes. Breakfast was sumptuous and generous. For those who prefer to stay in, there was a full-sized fridge and freezer with up-to-date appliances. The fitness center had everything that was needed, and I did appreciate that it had 24-hour access. Location was top notch- near major highways and every type of store and activity for adults and children.

Positive: Friendliness of staff & cleanliness of room & grounds. Negative: Worst thing at your hotel was pillows. I mainly come to R.I. to get a good night sleep but when I roll over in bed at night & my pillow will not support my head so I have to beat up my pillow to try & plump it up? UNSATISFACTORY! You need foam pillows!!

My husband and I were at a conference for marriages and decided that it would be best to not stay on location of the conference and we are soooooo thankful we chose this hotel instead! ||I own my own cleaning company and cleanliness is absolutely number one to me! I check everything, everywhere! This hotel is SPOTLESS! I am usually the first to complain about even the littlest things because it’s what I do. ||I am by far happy with this hotel, its convenient location, the staff; especially the gentleman that ran the breakfast! The beds are comfortable. The breakfast and coffee are great! The options at breakfast are amazing. No fee for parking. My husband and I are ecstatic that we chose this hotel over the other one where the conference was as it was disgusting, slammed and the breakfast

This Residence Inn is in a convenient location right off of 84 and about halfway between Boston and NYC. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's also great that they allow dogs. It would be nice if other people who brought their dogs cleaned up after thrm because the back area outside of the hotel that's designated for dog walks, is full of dog poop. In that area the hotel has two containers of poop bags and two locations for throwing out the bags, so I don't understand why so few people discard of the waste properly. So, the rooms are okay. We had two one bedroom rooms. It would be nice if they had a table with four chairs since each room holds four people (in addition to the small queensize bed in the bedroom there is a queensize pullout in the living room). I hate to complain my wife and I was trying to celebrate our 20th anniversary and the manager that was scheduled 2/14/26 @ 730pm. Was very rude and had no bedside manner. We booked our room for 2/13-2/15 and we received a late night knock on the door because of an error the staff had made and our options was paid and extra $60 deposit or pack our bags. We our from out of town this wouldn’t have been a problem if we was told during check in the night before. We will not recommend this location
