Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Hartford Manchester

Stayed last night on our way from Long Island to Boston. The lady working the desk last night around 9pm (Measa?) was amazing getting me a room as a walk in. Provided some much needed bottles of water and recommended Maggie McFlys for a great late night meal (which was absolutely perfect for us). The hotel overall and the room was super clean. Almost a perfect 5 stars but the room was just super hot and it was tough to get it to cool down. Overall, very very happy.

More modest than some other Fairfield properties but very clean and comfortable. Nice staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Exec king suite has two tvs. Walking distance to the (nearly dead) Manchester mall and a Frank Pepe’s pizzeria outpost.

The bed and room were comfortable for a long stay and the best part of the stay. The room was large and well soundproofed and the mattress was just the right softness. However, we were sorely disappointed with the housekeeping service. The night before we would request a full housekeeping service for the next day. After all, that is the best part of staying in a hotel. Over the course of a 9 night stay, our room was completely skipped on 3 different occasions. In the breakfast area, we would be subjected to the rantings of the head of housekeeping as well as the other housekeeping employees very loudly complaining that they were not going to do all of the rooms, that they needed a raise, etc. True to their word, they didn't and the manager did nothing about it. I almost forgot to review this one. It was one of the last hotels just before I moved from Manchester because I couldn’t handle the stairs in my former place anymore. This was a good stay. I had a nice suite with a separate living room and work area with a great desk and comfortable chair and lots of power strips. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was nice. The room was very clean. The hot breakfast was excellent. The staff were so nice. It is pretty much almost in the mall. You can’t get any closer lol. I recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The Front Desk Manager was very polite and genuinely tried his best to assist us during our stay. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the desk employees, who were less helpful and at times dismissive when it came to addressing our concerns. Our guest room itself was clean and comfortable, which we appreciated. However, the television was disappointing. The coloring was off, and the images displayed strangely, making it distracting to watch. It looked so poor that we ended up turning it off entirely. First, the hotel website advertises a heated pool, which was one of the main reasons we booked here. When we went to use it, the water was extremely cold. Thinking something might be wrong, we asked an employee and were told that the room is heated, not the pool itself. This felt misle
