Horrible customer service!! Room next door to mine caught fire. The burning plastic smell permeated my room so I requested a new room. I was told the hotel was fully booked and nothing else was available. At no point did anyone from the hotel say anything akin to “We are sorry this happened. Let’s work together on making this better.” Instead I was told to wait until I returned much later that evening to see IF there was something available. After I checked out and reserved a different hotel, I received a generic “Welcome to our hotel! We are here for you! Let us know what we can do to make your stay with us more enjoyable!” email. Rooms are beautiful. Staff was great. We were here for graduation. We got up early at 3am hight auditor was extremely polite and professional. We did not really interact with other staff. The down side the shower does not get hot or warm its cool water and not something you want first thing at 3am . The tv remotes do not work very well

I spent 3 nights at this hotel for the USC family weekend. It is located about 15-20 minutes from campus. Reception and lobby are standard, with very helpful staff. Breakfast is included, standard buffet, not great but not bad either. Room was spacious, with a kitchen/living room space separated from the bedroom. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean, with good toiletries. Overall a good experience, it's a good option if closer hotels to the University of South Carolina campus are busy or too expensive, especially on football game day.

The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. The environment was nice and worth the price. We had family at another hotel with much less amenities and was the same price. Our room was much bigger, breakfast was good and included, There were snacks and drinks waiting upon our arrival in the lobby. The fire pit was going at night by the pool. The property was clean. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Every once in a while I find that the internet is too kind in the treatment of individuals, organizations or establishments. This would be one of those times to find that the world wide web community of travelers found it prudent to rate this a three star hotel is shocking to me. It’s at best two star worthy and that would only be when they are not attempting to monetize the colder winter weather by attempting to charge people $200.20 for the seemingly benign act of requesting an additional comforter (that I might add was never actually requested). The notion that a price tag of such an obvious exorbitant amount could be affixed to a request that should be a staple of the business model is nothing less than preposterous.
