Residence Inn by Marriott Chico

Room was good but the breakfast experience was awful. The buffet did not have the usual number of different selections I am used to at Residence Inns, particularly missing was fresh oatmeal and cut fresh fruit. There seemed to be very little attention being given by staff to refreshing the depleted buffet items. Very disappointing for the money they charged me. Front desk seemed disinterested by my concerns which was the icing on the cake.

So we paid for a one bedroom suite for 2 nights. Neither burner on the stove worked and there was no power to the garbage disposal. I notified the front desk the night we arrived, they apologized and said that Someone would get to it first thing in the morning. We were down there for youth football and cheerleading so we didn't have a lot of time to deal with things and should not have been having to. No one responded to me , of course or fixed any of the issues. I left a note upon checkout with all of the issues that we had noticed throughout our stay. A stain on a bed maid to be fresh, a light not working in the bathroom, no stove, disposal, poor sink repair etc. When leaving I was told that the first thing, the following day the manager would get ahold of me.This never happened either.I

Its not the best time right now as trying to get a hotel im Chico right now is extremely difficult. I had to get a cancellation of a 2 room suite just for me, but let me tell you, it was a blessing! There was no noises, the room was immaculate, I slept soo good as the mattress was very comfortable and the pillows just right. The staff was so sweet and friendly and the housekeeping was on top of everything. I have no complaints at all. I absolutely loved staying here that one night that I called them and said lets do two nights and they did. I would highly recommend anyone to come and stay here. You wont regret it!

We were visiting from SoCal and needed a two bedroom suite. This place was perfect. The staff addressed our needs. When an emergency hospital visit extended our stay and we needed an accessible room they fixed us up. Eric, at the front desk, allowed us to checkout at 2 PM, not noon, so that the accessible room residents could check out at noon. He worked with housekeeping to have them immediately turn the accessible room around so we could just move in at 2 PM. When the nature of our injury suggested that a lobby chair would help with the pain they let us put it in our room. A great place to stay.

This place is definitely five stars. The staff is super friendly helpful and supportive. We were displaced due to a house fire and they have been so wonderful. The breakfast is better than any hotel I've ever been to. I've been to a lot being a military wife and traveling across the country multiple times. They are very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are big and feature a full kitchen with options of stove or no stove. The two bedroom suites come with a fireplace. The lobby is warm and welcoming. If you have the money it's worth it.
