Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Andover

Original reservation made using my Mariott Bonvoy Account was for a 2 bedroom suite for my 21 year old daughter, my wife & I to travel to a Weightlifting Competition. Brianna from the Hotel called to alert my wife that the Suites are experiencing problem with the AC units and asked to instaed place us in 2 separate room next door to each other. Of course we were ready to mke the change and thanked Brianna for the advanced thinking and for the offer to keep the rate the same for the 2 rooms as it was for the suite. |When we arrived at the property I informed the desk clerk of being assigned to side by side rroms because the 2 bedroom suites have AC Issues. The look on the Desk clearks' face gave me the sense that I may have not been told the truth about the AC but still mo problem.|NEXT up

Stayed one night during the January 25th storm. When it was time to leave after checking out an employee named Brian wouldn’t let me go without completely cleaning off my car for me! He was extremely friendly and caring and just wanted to help. I am grateful to him and just want management to know what a good employee they have working for them!!

The rooms are lovely and well laid out. The red decor was terrific. Everything looked new. May have been renovated recently. Our room has a gas fireplace and we sat before it for hours. The staff at the front desk were very accommodating. The cleanliness of the room was 10 star! It felt like my mother had cleaned it. Overall we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the breakfast offerings. We will not hesitate to return!

Positive: The location. Negative: There were roaches in my room. We were moved to another room, but that brought everything down. The couch was worn and looked dirty. The living room lamp was leaning we couldn't fix it.

Stayed there the beginning of August with my family of 5 in a 2 bedroom suite. It is VERY dated. It was clean and included a mediocre breakfast. Most staff was friendly. Breakfast was usually beginning to be cleaned up before 9am but wasn’t that great anyway. Many rooms had window ac units, ours did not and our ac worked well. Pool deck had screws sticking out in some places and most of the chairs are broken and there were rarely pool towels. We were only provided 4 towels and when I asked for more as well as additional blanket for my daughter I was questioned why I needed them. Our room slept 6, we chose not to have it cleaned in our week and we only started with 4 towels and one extra blanket. Not sure why it was a big deal to get one more blanket and a couple extra towels. We did see on
