Renaissance Walnut Creek Hotel

My stay here was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful. The room was nice and clean. I enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant both mornings and the food was very good. I also really enjoyed having access to The Bay Club. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Walnut Creek.

I’ve been a loyal Marriott guest for years and recently joined the on-site Bay Club because I trusted the Marriott brand and its treatment of guests. This is a beautiful hotel in a prime area with a gorgeous lap pool for exercise and relaxation. However, the restaurant at this location has repeatedly fallen short of the hospitality Marriott is known for. On one visit, staff told me I could sit in the rotunda area near the TVs with my own food (which I must bring for health reasons). Positive: The gym is amazing Negative: To get to the pool, is a whole thing. Staff were not friendly and rooms are very outdated. The location is not in Walnut Creek, you have to get a car to go anywhere. The gym is the only thing that makes this hotel worthwhile

Me and my wife stayed here, and probably never again. Room was small. Walls were thin. Bed was lumpy. Pillows were flat. Bathroom towel was stained. The remote for the TV was broken. They charge for parking with no valet. Honestly I want my money back. Lady at the desk that helped us was kind, but the "lady" next to her wasn't. Thank for an uncomfortable long night

I spent my birthday at Renaissance in Walnut Creek. The staff acknowledge my birthday and were kind and generous during my visit. The room was beautiful and I loved the big tub. I had a great walk on a local trail and swam in the large pool. Dinner and drinks were delicious. I will be returning.
