While EAA is losing out on earnings for pre-airventure-weekend parking (no one of the EAA staff seems to know if parking is tolerated during the weekend before airventure), these people now what’s needed to provide basic day-parking to watch airshow arrivals. It seems to become busier here each year, but they always try to find a spot for you. All that’s left to do is to follow the gentleman on the quad guiding you to the spot, and you are ready for the day. Well worth the $10 for a day of parking!
The best place to camp. Robin and family are just awesome 😎
The people in staff here are very friendly and were willing to let me park overnight during the event since I drove up and was camping with friends under the wing of a plane. This place deserves six stars in my book
This is a nice little private campground that we went to each night to have drinks and dinner with a group we were with. It is right on the airport runway.. Nice place.
Good nightly events, quiet location.
