Regency Inn & Suites

We have been coming to the Regency Inn for years. We had not been like in three years so I was worried that it might had not been kept up but I was quite happy. The room was super clean. The pool and the surrounding area was very clean as well. The staff was super friendly. The coffee area was nice. Coffee and fixings were provided. There was a microwave and toaster for your use as well. Loved it and great price! We will be back and recommend to friends and family.

Positive: We loved the Jacuzzi in the room as well as the view and the pier was a major plus ! Negative: everything was perfect !! we stayed here 2 different times in 1 week.

We stayed at Regency Inn and Suites in St Augustine Beach because the rate was fair (about $60) and the location is genuinely excellent, very close to the beach. For travelers prioritizing proximity and price above all else, it may do the job. That said, the room would not work for even mildly fussy travelers. Housekeeping and overall cleanliness were the main issues. We travel with bleach spray and ended up doing a meticulous wipe down of the room and bathroom ourselves. It was noticeably cleaner when we left than when we arrived. The two small towels we used to clean were filthy afterward, which says a lot about the baseline level of cleaning. For the price and location, its a nice hotel. It is quiet, has decent parking, elevator, and the indoor heated pool is a really nice touch for the colder times of the year say winter nights, you can really swim in it to workout and use it like a physical therapy. Not too crowded. The front desk women are really nice and solve your inquiries promptly. The rooms are OK, a bit dated but not rusty. Our TV was going dead and it actually lost image but bot audio or settings during our stay. Not a big deal since we're really using the place to sleep and refreshen. The beach is across the street and the gas station, Circle K, is by the side with a great selection of items... It would be nice if some kind of breakfast was included, but there are plenty of affordable options down A1A like Cafe 11 we

The location is amazing and we wished we were staying longer. Staff was fabulous. But the room itself needs some cleaning. I had to go get a new set of sheets due to a strange yellow spot and hair, and the floor I’m not sure is ever cleaned. Our fridge was also dirty and the bathroom had quite a bit of hair in corners. Overall I would stay again due to loving the location, I just would bring my own cleaning supplies.
