Red Roof Inn Washington, DC - Columbia/Fort Meade

This Red Roof location is impressive for a 2 star accomodation. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. Front desk staff demonstrated excellent customer service and was very accommodating of my requests. Will be returning soon.

I've been staying here for about a month. Having stayed in Red Roof Inns extensively (due to having a service dog) I can say without a doubt that this particular Red Roof Inn is one of the best in the area. The staff here are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are well maintained and clean, and the housekeeping staff here do an excellent job. It is in an excellent location with plenty of food options nearby. I take the MARC train daily, and it's located less than 5 minutes away. While the amenities here are basic and in line with any Red Roof, this motel is well maintained and I've nothing but good experiences staying here.

Positive: The rooms look clean Negative: The rooms have a bad smell like urine or a pet smell I had to switch rooms but the other room smells just as bad.

The rooms were spacious I only stayed for a night, they don't have breakfast so plan to eat out.its near a school area and behind a highway and small street with houses along the streets.I don't really like the service on account of the sugar lining the counter in the morning where the coffee should be

Looks decent when you first walk in. Pulled the sheets back the bed was dented on the like a big fat man was laying there and wore the bed out. There was a roach crawling across the floor. Banging all night couldn’t rest. Barking dog also kept me up. There was very old dirty chair in the room that was peeling. Very nasty and uncomfortable. Room 222 is the room I was in don’t book at this place I couldn’t eat my food I was so grossed out so I tried to sleep the bed was very uncomfortable.
