Extended Stay America Suites- Columbia - Laurel - Ft. Meade

I’m so glad I found this place on short notice before the storm. I’ve stay at other Extended Stays but this one is completely different. The actual building and rooms are nicely renovated, not out dated at all and very clean. The hallways and common areas are clean as well. Tyra and Robert were extremely helpful and kind during this storm. Tyra answered all my questions and was very accommodating, and Robert helped dig my car out of the snow and was very pleasant, even carried my bags to my car. Plus the nightly fee is affordable! Again, I’m glad I stayed here and I will be back.

Location was great, staff was amazing each employee I talked to went above and beyond to help me also my stay felt very safe

Positive: It was clean and moderately priced. Negative: The building was a little old and outdated. It could definitely use a make over.

First, I wanna say it was a blessing coming to Extended stay here in Jessup because I’ve been to other locations That wasn’t very clean. First, I will say that the room is fine. However, the kitchenette is pretty run down (there are burn marks on the counter), as is the dresser, the nightstand, and the bathroom (there are staples holding down the ripped linoleum in the bathroom). Second, I read the reviews and kept an open mind, especially because of the high praise for the staff. There are four of us staying in the room, and twice now one of the front desk employees has stopped my son and his partner (both adults) and said they need to see their IDs - no one has asked my husband for his ID. No one asked for the names of the other people under our reservation. Lastly, there was food and trash under both of our beds (which I checked because we have our cats with us and I knew they would seek shelter under the beds temporar
