La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbia / Fort Meade

Positive: The location was good and all of the housekeeping staff was friendly. Negative: I was very sick & had finished sanitizing the room & didn’t noticed that the TV screen was cracked. I didn’t make a big deal of it bc I was sick & extended my stay another day & asked if I could get a discount or comp for another day & manager declined .

Great location, within walking distance of a small shopping center in Jessup. Room was clean and maid service was great. My only complaint (and it's a small one) is that neighbors in room above me sounded like someone was stomping (periodically) on the floor/my ceiling during the evening.

My recent stay was different than when I stayed there in October (2025). The hotel is nice and clean and they do allow pets. My first visit was in Oct. 2025 for a dog show and the potty area outside was nice and clean, everyone cleaned up after their pets and it was a good experience. They offered a garbage can and poop bags and everyone cleaned up after themselves. When I stayed this time the dog area was littered with dog poop and it was difficult to find a spot where my dog could go without stepping in some other dogs crap! what is wrong with people? I'm not going to blame the hotel for this issue but it was really bad. The other issue I encountered was the daily cleaning service. In Oct. they cleaned and freshened my room daily( new towel and freshened the bed) but on this trip they

The room was clean, complementaries were provided, and service was pleasant. Major complaint was the restroom situation. The sink and mirror were located outside the bathroom, which made getting ready with a roomate uncomfortable. The pressure was very weak on both the faucet and showerhead. Did not feel clean enough. There was only one harsh white light in the bathroom which made it dim and there was no fan to air it out. We also kept smelling the stench of cigarette smoke coming from a room next door. Breakfast was also short and ended very early (6-9am). Probably would not stay here again for what we paid.

This is a really good hotel...the air conditioner in room 424 is tooooo LOUD OMG. Tight but right...Enough Bang for your buck. Breakfast was decent. A little mold in the shower (clorox mold and mildew). Beds comfy ok. Overall the building is kept very clean...would stay again.
