Red Roof Inn Van Horn

Horrible place. They say its a military institution and can't stay here. How is a red roof a military institution. The manager is a nasty old lady who kicks children out in the cold because she thinks its ok. Stay away from here!!! Better places in town.

Excellent customer service. Great breakfast. The buffet includes eggs, hashbrowns, and sausage patties. Plus waffles, bagels, juice, and coffee. All fresh and hot. Our room was nice, clean and had all the necessary amenities. They had a sitting area, with sofas, and chairs, plus a large outside area between the buildings. We felt safe during our stay. Close to local eating establishments. Recommend the Van Horn Cattle Company for dinner

Traveled to Van Horn to watch a Blue Origin rocket launch, and the Red Roof Inn was the only hotel with rooms available, I’m not going to lie I was a little weary at first but Twyla made me feel like I was at a 5-star resort!🌟 When we checked in she ran to our rooms to make sure everything was perfect for our stay, she helped us find the best viewing point for the launch, had great recommendations for dining, and came to the rescue when a loud banging noise was keeping us up at night. I also had incredible experiences with the cleaning staff who were all incredibly kind and helpful. Overall I would absolutely recommend a stay at the Red Roof Inn especially if Twyla is there!

Stayed here on our travels across the country. Wanted a place to stop halfway between Houston and Phoenix and Van Horn was it! This Red Roof is good quality for the price. It’s right off the thruway and accepted our 2 kitties with only a small fee. Shout out to Twila at the front desk for her wonderful service.. her kindness and hospitality made our stay extra special! Breakfast was a nice perk. If you stay here- you must eat at the Van Horn Cattle Company up the road.. it is amazing! Thank you Twila for the recommendation! God bless.

For way out on the 10 traveling late and having a dog u were extremely pleased with this hotel. The bed was even comfortable and breakfast was really delicious. It was clean and easy. Thank you , for being on a tight budget this is a must stay . If it's in your in the route
