Holiday Inn Express & Suites Van Horn by IHG

Michael justin garland MA and corey in valet took great care of me that's for the entire duration of my stay. They made me feel very comfortable and welcome and they were very professional. That were a lot of fun!

They’re taking the coffee makers out of the rooms. Sure, you can get it in the breakfast room if you want to travel to the first floor to get it. No remote in my room either. They had to send one up. I also discovered that the was no glass tray in the microwave. I made a microwave pizza in it anyway and it made a mess. The bath drain was slow and the toilet was loose, not bolted to the floor properly. I’m a Platinum Elite member but if this trend continues at IHG hotels, they’re going to lose me as a customer. I’ve stayed at almost all hotels in Van Horn Texas and it seems they’re all bad for different reasons. To be fair the desk clerk during checkout listened to my complaints noting them. She was very apologetic and gracious in spite of the circumstances.

Stay there for one night , looks nice from the outside and the guest services. The rooms needs to a lot of work. Loose floor tiles in the bathroom. Duct tape holding Jewel closed entry light flashing like crazy. The bathroom has cracks in the wall needs a good, clean

Great comfortable clean place to stay. The breakfast choices as fresh bacon and sausage was excellent. The toilet paper roll holder was very loose and the shower water pressure was not quite up to par but manageable. Would be nice if the toilet seats were a little bit higher off the floor. Had to hold on to the rail to make sure I didn't fall in.

We are frequent flyers of this specific hotel. We stay going and coming back from our road trip destination every year. The front desk staff is nothing to write home about but they are not rude, just not overall friendly. I do feel like the morning staff is much more friendly/personable than the evening staff. The rooms have really comfy beds (we always stay in a king bed room with a sofa pull out). I do wish that bedding was automatically provided for the pull out, but we always have to request it, and they have to go "look" to see if they have any available. Usually they have it available but its a flat sheet and a super janky thin blanket. The recent trips we try to remember to just pack our own. I think the bathrooms could use an update but from our experience, it all seems to be wo
