Red Roof Inn & Suites San Angelo

I'm extremely sorry that I actually drove out of my way to stay here. I'm a frequent red roof customer mostly because of their pet policy. I've tried to come up with a positive of this hotel but it's really difficult. I had to move rooms after unpacking due to an issue. The second room was just slightly better. Dirty, needs maintained much better. The outside was horrible, looked like a homeless camp in a way. Definitely won't be back. At least the bedding was clean.

No fire alarm , lamps didn't work , cops out front , no remote,

My experience at this hotel was bad. I booked a room only because every other hotel was booked do to the tattoo convention at the time. As I got ready for bed, I went to the bathroom sink to turn off the light and noticed 3 roaches on the floor. I immediately called the front office and explained to them what I saw and the guy at the counter blessed me with a full refund.

Stayed here last minute due to necessity. Have two dogs and it's one of the only places that don't price gouge just because you have pets. I had visited the front desk repeatedly due to the phone completely missing it's phone cord, door not unlocking unless it's slammed prior to, tv remote not working, so no TV for 3 of the 4 days, Wi-Fi problems, roaches crawling the floors, lights by the bed shorting out, holes in drapes, bedspread and bathroom door. There was a massive spot where drywall mud was in need of primer and paint on bathroom ceiling. The room just looked beat down. One thing that was great was the hot water, and fantastic water pressure. As the reviews stated, I would only rate it as fair. We stayed up there for work, was the worst experience we have had. From the cleanness, to the partying they do, to the absurd amount of roaches in the room. We asked for help with bugs and response was just “ sorry we are located to the river”. Sleepless nights after working all day. Super DISAPPOINTED!
