Red Roof Inn & Suites Knoxville East

Booked online and checked in without an issue. The guy at the front desk was extremely polite and welcoming. The area is quiet and has easy access especially for handicapped individuals. The room I'm in is very very clean no odors no stains of any kind. Towels and everything are clean and sorted neatly. Free coffee with coffee maker providing both decaffeinated and caffeinated coffee blends. Room is very spacious with plenty for a full size family. I would highly recommend staying here. You're getting a hotel on par with a 5 star hotel at a budget friendly price.

My family and I have been to this location twice now. When I say family I mean there was a total of 5 adults and 2 kids the first time and 6 adults and 3 children the second time and we had a very nice time. We ended up renting 3 rooms to begin with each time and this last time a 4th for my mother in law to enjoy her peace without the kids. They accommodated us when we needed towles, toilet paper, coffee or really anything. The people were very nice and it was decently quiet and calm. This last time we even had a dog, which turned out to be a very great time and no problems at all. (Although the bed is a little on the uncomfortable side overall we were very happy and will return in the future.)

This was a one night stay on a road trip. Very clean room with microwave, frig, coffeemaker in room plus free coffee in lobby which also has some seating (NO breakfast/room). There is a corner with a computer. Also outside there is a covered patio on each side of the entrance door with seating. It had vending machines for drinks & snacks & ice machine. The surrounding area was very calm, quiet & safe. Easy on/off the interstate with plenty of fast food & restaurants very close.

Positive: Have not stayed at a Red Roof for many years was impressed by how much space the room had overall cleanliness and quality of the bed and amenities Negative: The hallway did have a slight odor but the air in the room was fresh. the outside appeared dingy compared to the photos definitely an older property but has been well maintained

Room seemed clean unfortunately we found a cockroach in the room. Both evening and morning front desk attendants were friendly and courteous. Hopefully Red Roof addresses cockroach issues. Let’s pray we didn’t pick up bed bugs too on our vacation.
