Red Roof Inn Mystic - New London

I got a great price. It was a small room, but fine for 1 or 2 people. Room was nice and clean, with a very comfortable bed and a good microwave and refrigerator. The Wi-Fi ran well. The staff worked hard to clear all the parking spots after the big snowstorm.

This was my second stay here, front desk is very friendly specially that girl Lovi. First i stay in 225 i think best room according to the price this time in 109. Very reliable rate. I have a very big truck and surprisingly they have parking. Fav place will come back again

1.9 stars, 2 seems too generous. Place is run down/dated, allot of ppl around outside smoking weed and being loud, can hear everything going on outside. Inside the room was clean, better then what I expected when I pulled up. Beds aren't real great but ok for a night or 2. It's a motel not a hotel so what do you expect. I'd say it's a $50 a night kind of spot, at least that's the kind of vibe/quality the facility has.

Positive: It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Negative: I had to post a one hundred dollar deposit and when we got into our room, there was a light on the wall with no lamp shade. No hair dryer, which the other Red Roof Motels do. No ice machine, apparently it was broken. The wash cloths were old and dingy.

I booked a stay here after having a bad experience at a Super 8 location nearby recently. Without notice I was informed that a $100 deposit is required. Which I found strange. The young lady at the front desk checked me in & I was given my key passes to my room. When I opened the door. I was quickly meet with the smell of weed & cigarettes. I left the door open to allow clean air into the room. When I went to open the small fridge. I noticed that it was warm. I pulled the cabinet away from the wall to see if possibly the fridge was unplugged. The unit was plugged in, it just didn't work. When I went to locate the remote control for the TV. It wasn't to be found. I immediately went back to the front desk. This time I was met with a young man who politely asked what he can do for me. When I
