Great ID card service, much easier to get an appointment than across the river at New London Sub Base. Just one technician, so definitely recommend making an appointment, but I think they accept walk-ins as well.

Stayed here in temp housing on vacation. The booking staff were so helpful and friendly. I submitted a request the week before I was coming and I was so glad to get a room. The checkin was smooth even though it was a Sunday. I was provided with clear instructions on how to proceed. The room was clean and simple, a good value. The exchange is right across the road. There are many restaurants nearby for dinner. I bought mine in East Lyme nearby and just brought it back to my room. They don't provide shampoo and conditioner, but you can get that across the street or at any drugstore. The vending machine was right across the hall so that was convenient. I was on the second floor which is down one flight of stairs but not a problem for me.
