Red Roof Inn Milwaukee – Airport/ Oak Creek

Positive: While the gentleman at the front desk that checked me in was very pleasant, the motel room was absolutely disgusting. It was so bad that I had to take pictures of the room and would like to share them with you if you care to see how poorly you advertise! Negative: Black mold throughout bathroom, broken exhaust fan, rusted and broken heater/ac/fan unit, door lock was broken, electrical outlet were all broken and zapped me if touched, holes in wall though out the room, dirty floors, dirty & blood stained towels.

It is not a five star hotel but I would say it’s clean for the price. Although, the ACs need to be replaced. They have a bad smell but I have air freshener that help. Been coming for years as just an affordable getaway for peace and quiet. Now I’m staying because I’m homeless… But the quiet ain’t quiet this visit, the other guests are very loud, Yelling & running up and down the stairs all night and early morning. So my sleep has been terrible. The vending machine prices are unacceptable on top of being empty, and the washing is too high. But I guess they trying to make up for low prices stays. Overall I’d still give it 4/5 because the staff are very sweet…from check in to the housekeepers.

Booked through CheapTickets. Had to cancel and rebook several times - which was done BEFORE the date to incur ANY penalty. Manager stole credit card number from CheapTickets and charged my card without authorization, then lied and said CheapTickets did it, made a poor attempt to talk in circles to get me off the phone, then emailed admitting he did it. I have contacted the Oak Creek PD and many others. And will continue to do so and will pursue individual charges as soon as my bank is done.

Horrible service. Rude staff and were roaches in the lobby. Was charged $62 for the room through priceline and upon arriving hotel wanted another $50 deposit that was not disclosed when booking the room. Desk clerk was rude and left me standing there for 20 min before telling me she couldn't refund the money and I would have to contact priceline who would refund the money so I was charged $62 for a room I never used. It was -15 outside and after being on the road for close to 18 hours was forced to sleep in my car as I spent the last of my money on the hotel room through priceline. What a rip off. Avoid this hotel!!!

this place is horrible, the first room we got the wifi wasn’t working what so ever and they just let it be, we switched our room and the wifi ended up working but there is a hole in the wall, heater is falling off the wall, very obviously been zip tied on there and the bedding was dirty, looks like it hasn’t been washed at all. then people yelling outside and slamming shit all day and night is ridiculous
