Candlewood Suites Milwaukee Airport-Oak Creek by IHG

Very nice, clean rooms. The staff are friendly and are always available if you need them. There's free laundry & a workout room! The location is a mile or so from any type of store you may need. Also, its pet friendly with a beautiful dog/people walking path. Love it here! P.s. The beds are to die for! 😀

Heather at the front desk is wonderful! She was so helpful and sweet, and made us feel so so welcome. The room was clean, cozy, and so roomy! Definitely will stay again.

I’m a platinum member and normally get honored a waive of incidental if I add consecutive nights to my reservation. I asked for that accommodation and was denied. Platinum status was not recognized, nor my welcome amenity. Stained bathroom floor mats and the customer service was stale. Front desk is not welcoming don’t explain anything just take your money and hand over keycards. I came for the holiday to spend with my family I will never stay at a candlewood suites again. Sales person told the front person they can’t waive my second night incidental as general manager was not in office. Once again I’m a platinum member and wasn’t acknowledged not felt like my loyalty meant nothing to them here. Overall score is a 1 for me. I will never be back there.

I arrived here at 1am after United sent me to the wrong airport and left me stranded. The lady at the front desk was amazing. She clearly has dealt with this situation 100 times because she was so kind and understanding. She made sure to get right to the point (knowing I’ve had a long day dealing with United). Told me there would be a shuttle ready for me when I woke up. She also made me a nice little goodie bag with waters & snacks and brought it up to me. She really turned, what was a terrible day of travel, into a pleasant one.

Positive: The cleanliness of the room, friendly staff, multiple access into the hotel 24/7, exercise facility, free parking- NON-SMOKING BUILDING!!! Negative: The only minor thing is that the water was not hot- more in the luke warm arena. Perhaps it would have gotten hot if I had stood there a few minutes and waited, but I appreciate instant hot water.
