Red Roof Inn Columbia East - Ft Jackson

The air conditioning did not work had a problem with the television the shower only the bottom part came on. You couldn’t really take a shower no soaps in the dispensers nothing terribly small towels hated it. Glad we only stayed one night.

Worst experience i have ever had staying in hotels. The most annoying part of the stay was someone blasting their music from their vehicle most of the night. After driving 10 hours a person just wants to be able to relax and get some rest. The rooms were not that clean and the bed coverings need update. I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel.

Positive: I liked that it was right off of Interstate 20. I was traveling and the hotel was convenient. Negative: So as soon as I entered the lobby. The lobby smelled of marijuana. Also the woman that was working the front desk was drinking alcohol. And was clearly inebriated.I was also solicited for money anytime I left my room. By people just roaming around.

This "motel" should be labeled as "Not Family Friendly", "Lonely Truckers and Men Welcome", "If you got $5, I got time". Stay away from this DUMP!! I literally was treated like a hooker who cheated this dump out of money when I requested a room change and ultimately checked out. Thank goodness for Delta by Marriot!! They saved this trip for my family!!

My experience has been great! I wasn't expecting the Ritz; but I did have a clean room with all the general amenities that we needed. The front desk day AND night staff have been corgial and respectful! Even the maintenance and housekeeping staff were helpful and kind! I have no complaints about this Red Roof location! I'd stay here again if ever it was necessary!!!
