Red Roof Inn Cambridge, OH

This hotel was previously owned by another company, over this past summer it was shut down due to bedbugs cockroachs. It was reopened as a redroof inn. The customer service here is awful the rooms are horrible. If it weren't for the snowstorm we wouldn't have stayed here!! This place is not handicap accessible!! My husband and I were leaving our room when we came across a gentleman who was sitting on his behind try to come up the stairs backwards pulling his wheelchair with him.. my husbandand I stopped to help him. He had a tracheotomy so he wasn't able to speak with us, but he was explaining with his hands that his hip is broken!!! It completely broke my heart to see him struggling to get to his room which mind you is on the first floor.. they only way to get to the first floor is thro

We came in for the show and stayed one night. We had a room on the first floor. It was clean - also had mini fridge and microwave. ||Only issue I really had was that the air was blowing directly on my head while trying to sleep. If you are a sinus sufferer this is bad news! However, I was able to roll the large desk chair between the bed and the wall unit - problem solved. ||It was very quite there- could not hear other patrons. We were almost at the opposite end of the building from the tiki bar - so the level of noise may be different down there. ||There are signs for a game room... but they don't have one. Kids and husband were disappointed about that. But all in all a nice stay for a decent price. Nice front desk staff too.

It was The worst Red Roof experience I ever had. The only employee at the desk, on the night of November 3 at 8pm was so unhelpful and ugly towards me. Red roof is supposed to welcome dogs. I have 3 little dogs, and she treated it like I was trying to bring huge dogs into the room. She then proceeded to keep put a paper in front of me that had a pet policy on it. I had just driven 700 miles, reserved a room online before I got there, and thought I was all set. After the conversation about the pet policy, and how I had to pay 30 dollars more then I already had. My debit card was declined for the 70 for the room because she didn't explain anything about a $100 deposit being held for online reservation and then they would release the hold after I checked out. Positive: Not much Negative: No WiFi,but they advertised there was. Toilet stopped up and no body could get me a plunger. Later that day they gave me another room. Hugh inconvenience when all I needed was a plunger.Reported the issue at 5:30 am and I returned at 4:00pm

Overall we had a clean and friendly one-night stay at this Red Roof for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The location is good with easy access from the freeway. We had three rooms for various family members, and in each the beds were a bit firm for our liking, but otherwise a pleasant stay!
