Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Cambridge

Positive: Check in was excellent treaded me like family, very nice. Negative: Breakfast was the worst ever. No fruit at all, no waffle iron or bread for toast,no oatmeal No regular coffee only decaf. Half the parking lot had no lights. Not many channels on Tv nothing in walking distance.

Was told at check in "the room we booked online is dirty and not available due to staffing issues". I was not offered a refund or a different room. I was just told in order to stay the night I needed to book and pay for a whole new room. I lost $130 in total because of their staffing issues and ended up having to go to a whole new hotel instead.

We lost $130 because of their staffing issues and were offered no help or refunds. At check in we were told the room we booked and paid for online wasn’t available because they didn’t have staff to clean the rooms. Instead of offering a different room or a refund, they said we had to book and pay for a completely new room online and that we were not eligible for a refund. While we sat in the dark parking lot, in the snow, we even tried to use an Expedia travel advisor to switch the room we paid for to a different room. Everytime the travel advisor called the front desk they were placed on hold then hung up on and their emails were ignored. We went to the holiday inn instead and had a much better experience. Very nice hotel! Even nicer front desk staff that could handle 3rd grade basketball team in the lobby! Much prop to the two women behind the counter! Fabulous staff!!!

We attempted to book a room for loved ones stuck by a snow storm. Not only did they not have the designated room we booked available but they did not have staff available to change this reservation. As a result, we lost the full prepaid amount. The front desk staff were also extremely rude. I would avoid booking here at all costs!!
