Red Horse Inn

The Red Horse Inn is an excellent hotel choice for anyone visiting Falmouth, especially from outside of New England! It’s an adorable inn just south of downtown Falmouth. While we didn’t personally stay there, we coordinated with the general manager, Cindy, to have our guests stay there the week of our wedding. We were delighted to learn that prices were very reasonable for an August weekend, at under $300 per night (2-night minimum). We had no issues with our invited guests securing rooms, and it is best to book rooms by calling hotel management directly. The room decor is characteristically quaint Cape Cod themed, and was a nice bonus to welcome our many guests who had never been to Cape Cod. Cindy was accommodating in allowing our shuttle buses to pick up and drop off guests at the Red

Ferry to Martha’s Vineyard was cancelled so we were able to find accommodation at the Red Horse Inn. Very comfortable room. Slightly noisy due to our room being on the street. Nice having ‘The Stables’ as a lounge to chill in after dinner out! We had a glass of wine and relaxed there! Help yourself breakfast was provided there - ample choices. Definitely recommend!

We stayed at the Red Horse Inn as it was only a few minutes walk to the ferry for Martha's Vineyard. We received a very warm welcome on arrive and our room was very clean & spacious. Breakfast, which included cereals, bagels, muffins, yogurts, etc. was available every morning in the wonderful 'barn' (see photo). The barn was also available 24 hours a day for complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. along with a selection of board games and books. It was a very nice place to spend some time. The Red Horse was one of our favourite accommodations on our New England road-trip.

My wife and I having been going to the Red Horse Inn Falmouth Heights Road in August for over 10 years to the Falmouth Road Race This year it was excellent as usual. It has a great location for seeing the race. Also if you are running the race it is within walking distance to the buses that take you to the start. The rooms are clean and neat as well as the overall property. Most important the manager Cindy Brown is superb. There is a breakfast every morning from 10 to 12. However on Race day Cindy makes sure the breakfast is available for the runners at 5 AM. I would recommend this Inn as a great place to stay especially if you are interested in the annual Falmouth Road Race|Bob and Flo Kelley

My husband and I spent three nights at the Red Horse Inn and were thoroughly impressed with our stay. Although we arrived after hours, the check-in instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. The accommodations were exceptionally clean—possibly the cleanest we've ever experienced in any lodging. The complimentary breakfast was a thoughtful and appreciated touch. The location was ideal, with convenient access to both downtown and the Martha’s Vineyard ferry.||Our only minor complaint was the noise from the room above us, which made it difficult to sleep at times. Despite that, we would absolutely return to the Inn and highly recommend it to others.
